Sarah says of the new appointment, “We have spent many years working through our business plan of renovating and updating the hotel. Our vision of updating the bar and dining areas culminated in ‘Mrs Brown’ opening recently which has been a wonderful success. We are now rated #1 of B&B’s to stay in Rutherglen on Trip Advisor. This result is extremely important to our business because it is our guests that have stayed with us and experienced our authentic country hospitality that voted us to #1 here not a journalist or paid advertisement. Listening to our customer feedback and suggestions has been very valuable for us, allowing us to fine tune service and give guests what they want.” Sarah continues, “These are exciting times for the hotel. Drew was chosen for the team obviously because of the experience that he brings with him and importantly his focus on the kitchen meeting guest expectations and needs. An important part of our business is tourism and we offer people visiting the Rutherglen area looking for accommodation an authentic and high quality food and wine experience. We offer hotel guests a fine dining experience in Mrs Brown and classic pub cuisine in our Bistro. Our offer will be in good hands as Drew has an impressive 11 years of experience including 7 years as Kitchen Manager at Banning Mills in Whitesburg Georgia U.S.A. Banning Mills a 48 bedroomed property built in the style of the original 1800s mill provided Drew with catering experiences in a similar style environment to our historic 1868 hotel. Drew spent time as Head Chef at the Samba Loca, a Brazilian Steakhouse restaurant in Atlanta Georgia. So expect to see the impressive grill action continue on Thursday Night Steak nights!” Book your quality food and wine experience today at the Vic This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
