    If you’d like to arrive early or sleep in a little longer, please contact us the day prior to your arrival — early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional fee. Availability depends on occupancy, especially during weekends and wine festival periods. Please email your request to rest@victoriahotelrutherglen.com.au

  • Look out for a text and email from Goki about 2 hours prior to check-in with your suite number and unique PIN code.  

    Use this code to access both your suite and the hotel entry points. Our contactless check-in process means you're free to head straight to your room upon arrival, without the need to collect a physical key.

  • Yes, The Victoria gift vouchers can be redeemed for accommodation or dining. 

    If you are redeeming a gift voucher for your stay, please email rest@victoriahotelrutherglen.com.au to make arrangements. A valid credit card pre-authorisation is required at the time of booking as security against incidentals, loss or damages.

Dining.

  • Yes, especially on weekends and event dates. 

    Our restaurant is popular with both guests and locals. To avoid disappointment, please book online or call ahead. Our Beer Garden and Public Bar are available for walk-ins only.

  • Yes, our menu is designed to accommodate a broad range of dietary requirements. 

    We cater for most dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergies. Our seasonal menu is available to view online.

  • No, but great cafés are nearby. 

    We don’t currently offer breakfast, but we’re just a short walk from some of Rutherglen’s best cafés. Some of our favourites are:

    Our in-room dining menu is currently in development. Until then, please join us in the restaurant or bar to enjoy our award-winning dining. Reservations are recommended.

Rooms & Amenities.

  • Yes, we have a fully accessible ground-floor suite. 

    Our accessible suite offers step-free entry, a spacious layout, and an accessible bathroom.

  • Two suites are dog-friendly. 

    The hotel has two designated dog-friendly rooms on the ground floor. We welcome one small-medium dog in these suites. Please bring your own dog bed as these are not provided. Dogs must be well-behaved and kept on-leash in public areas. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture and must be toileted in outdoor grassed areas only.

    An additional cleaning fee may apply if extensive cleaning is required. By booking our dog-friendly suites, you agree to the terms of our pet policy.

    Well-behaved dogs on-lead are welcome in our Beer Garden for a drink or a meal but unfortunately cannot come inside the main hotel building or restaurant spaces.

  • Yes – Premium Twin Suites and Interconnecting Suites are available.

    Yes, we have two First Floor Premium Twin Suites which offer 2 x twin bed configuration with 1 ensuite. 

    We also have two Interconnecting Suites which offer 2 King beds (First Floor) or 1 x King and 1 x Queen bed (Ground Floor). Each Interconnecting suite has two ensuites.

    Yes. All suites have their own spacious private en-suites.

  • No, but luggage assistance is available on request.   

    The Victoria is a heritage two-storey building with no elevator. Most guest suites are located on the first floor which is accessible via staircase only.. If you require assistance with your luggage, please see our friendly team inside the bar for assistance.  

    Alternatively, three guest suites are located at ground level and are specified as ‘Ground Floor’ suites on our website.

  • We do not offer rollaway beds or sofa beds. Suites have a maximum occupancy of two guests. If travelling with an infant, our Premium or Deluxe suites offer space for a porta cot, however, we do not supply porta cots or associated bedding.

  • Yes, please contact us for room selection advice.  

    Guests are invited to enjoy the lively atmosphere of our public bar and restaurant. For the enjoyment of all hotel guests, we endeavour to turn off all venue music off by 10pm on weekdays and 10:30pm on weekends. Some suites may be subject to minor traffic noise from Main Street or our car park. For those seeking a quieter experience, we recommend reaching out to our team for room selection advice.

  • Yes, it’s complimentary and high-speed. 

    Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, making it easy to stay connected or share your Rutherglen adventures. Network name is Guest @ TVHR.

  • Yes, along with complimentary bottled water. 

    All rooms feature tea and coffee-making facilities and a mini fridge stocked with complimentary water, milk and cookies.

  • No, we are a smoke-free and vape-free property. 

    The Victoria is a STRICTLY smoke-free and vape-free property. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is not permitted inside guest rooms, bathrooms, or any public areas and grounds, including the carpark and balconies. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available on Main Street for guest use. For the comfort of all guests, a deep-cleaning fee of $500.00 will automatically be applied if any evidence of smoking is found.

Parking, Transport & Cycling.

  • Yes, we offer complimentary off-street parking.

    Free, designated off-street parking is available for all guests staying at the hotel. One designated car park per suite is available.

  • The hotel has one EV parking station for hotel guests to use with their own charging cable. Fees apply.

  • Not yet — storage is in development. 

    Secure bicycle storage is currently in development and is not yet available. For safety and comfort, bicycles are not permitted in guest rooms.

  • Walking, cycling and jogging trails are all withing reach! 

    Explore Rutherglen’s world-class wine region on 48km of interconnected trails linking historic cellar doors, the Murray River and Lake Moodemere. Collect a ‘Rutherglen Loops’ map at the Rutherglen Visitor Information Centre or search ‘Rutherglen Loops’ on explorerutherglen.com.au 

    Be sure to also check out the art trail along picturesque Lake King and take a selfie at our signature tourist attraction, the Rutherglen Wine Bottle.

    We don’t operate our own transfers, but there are a number of local transport and tour operators we can connect you with.

    There is no Uber service in Rutherglen. 

    Public buses and trains operate daily services from Rutherglen and nearby stations. Please visit ptv.gov.au for more information.

  • Yes, with catering options available. 

    We offer intimate and stylish spaces for meetings, private dining, and small to mid-size celebrations. Catering is available from our award-winning restaurant. Please contact gather@victoriahotelrutherglen.com.au for more information.

  • Yes, with group stays and supporting events only. 

    We can arrange group accommodation, pre- and post-wedding gatherings such as rehearsal dinners or recovery lunches, however, we do not offer wedding ceremony or reception packages.

  • Yes, but please note room occupancy limits and bedding configurations when booking.  

    We welcome children under supervision within the hotel, however please note we do not offer rollaway beds, portacots or sofa beds. Suites have a maximum occupancy of two guests, unless booking interconnecting rooms which have a maximum occupancy of four guests.  

    If travelling with an infant, our Premium or Deluxe suites offer space for a porta cot, however, we do not supply porta cots or associated bedding.  

    Our restaurant has a Children’s menu for children 12 and under
